HSD Connector Series – High Speed Data Transfer with 4 pins
Since continued growth in demand for higher data transmission rates, the one-pin FAKRA connector is no longer sufficient for some applications. Therefor the HSD (High Speed Data) interface has been defined.
The HSD plug connector system is used for signals like USB or IEEE1394, for example. For the HSD interface, signal transmission via LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling) is used. This decreases cross talk between signals and interference from external signals to a minimum. The system is 100Ω impedance controlled,so that signal transmission of the highest quality is achieved.
Yamaichi Electronics offers different variants:
HF107P – with additional shield ring
HF108P – with two additional power pins
HF109P – standard version
