To meet the increasing demands of battery and cell contacting systems in automotive industry, robust interfaces are necessary. For this purpose, Yamaichi is now expanding its Y-Lock connector system to include the version 4 with Connector Position Assurance and integrated contact protection.
The Y-Lock connectors are available in three versions, qualified based on LV214 and already successfully established on the market.
The connector system combines robust and secure locking with high process reliability during assembly and operation. The special feature of all Y-Lock connectors is the intelligent One-Push-Lock mechanism. Y-Lock is available in a wide range of variants in terms of pitch and pin count.
