Yamaichi Electronics – family-friendly employer!

This year Yamaichi Electronics was once again honored with the award "The most family-friendly employers" by Freundin and Kununu

Work-life balance has long been one of the most important criteria among employees and therefore plays a major role when choosing an employer. For the sixth time, the media brand Freundin and the employer rating platform kununu honored the compatibility of family and career, a good work-life balance, feel-good factors and equal career opportunities among employers.

Numerous employees responded to the call to evaluate the family awareness of their employers. More than 2 million evaluations on over 175,000 companies were included in the study to select the most family-friendly companies in Germany and Austria.

Yamaichi Electronics was again convincing this year and was voted one of the top ten most family-friendly companies in Germany in the electrical & electronics sector.

Yenia Zaba, Director Global Communications & Brand at kununu, explains: "What is important here is that family friendliness ultimately means more than home office and flexible working hours. Family friendliness is more complex. It also manifests itself in companies creating individual solutions to meet the needs of their employees - for example, by addressing the difficult situation of single parents or supporting employees who care for relatives."
